US stands by the British Government over Iran execution.

The 71st US Secretary of State Anthony Blinkin has stated. "We stand by the British Government in condemning the execution of Alireza Akbari which was a political and unfair action.

Regarding the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action or JCPOA, the Iranians destroyed all opportunity to quickly return to the agreement. Restoring the Iran nuclear deal is not currently on the table. Our focus is not on this agreement and we are focused on what is happening inside Iran.
