​Finland has agreed to purchase an advanced air defence system from Israel, the David’s Sling, in a deal estimated at $339 million. The system protects against various threats, including ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and unmanned aerial vehicles.

​Scotland is pushing for a new law to punish those who destroy nature with the same severity as war criminals. The proposed 'ecocide' law, which the Scottish government is putting forward, would make it a criminal offence to cause severe damage to the environment, wildlife and habitats.
